On 28 October 2022, Poland’s Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology adopted the new version of the Family Foundation Act. We have recently discussed the context in which the new draft was being prepared – you can read Wojciech Bańczyk’s text about the legislative process here.
On 8 November the Government’s Legislation Centre published on its website the draft of the Act, alongside projects of the regulation’s impact assessment and of the Act’s explanatory memorandum. A meeting of the legal commission of the Centre will be held on 16–18 November, with a plan to discuss the newly published documents. An invitation to the meeting (for representatives of ministries and central agencies only) can be found here.
The new law is expected to come into force in 2023.
